For Valentine’s Day all you need is love and the Beatles! The Fab Four wrote so many different kinds of songs and love is the theme in almost all of them. So for Valentine’s Day, take your love down the long and winding road to the intimate setting of the Stocker Studio Theatre and join song-stylist Helen Welch with her fabulous trio as they lend their voices to the music of the Beatles.
The evening will feature an array of timeless songs including romantic classics such as ‘In My Life,’ ‘Here There and Everywhere’ and ‘I’ll Follow the Sun.’ Swinging’ renditions of ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ and ‘You Can’t Do That!’ not forgetting some Beatles blues with ‘Hard Day’s Night’ and ‘Oh Darling.’ Helen and her talented musicians re-visit these beautiful melodies with a blend of pop, jazz and blues that will inspire and remind us that great music knows no boundaries and that the Beatles were masters when it came to writing love songs.
