"Yesterday Once More" A musical celebration of the Carpenters

The Michigan Theatre of Jackson: 8pm show (doors 7.30pm)
124 N. Mechanic Street
Jackson, Michigan 49201

Join Helen with Joe Leaman on piano, Bryan Thomas on bass, Charlie Trenta on guitar and Anthony Taddeo on drums in their musical celebration of the music of the Carpenters.

With their light, airy melodies and meticulously crafted arrangements, the Carpenters stood in direct contrast with the excessive, gaudy pop and rock of the '70s; yet they became one of the most beloved recording acts of all time.
The early 70s were The Carpenters' best years and by 1976 they had celebrated 16 consecutive Top 20 hits and 3 Grammy Awards.
Join Helen Welch as she celebrates the magic and music of the Carpenters. Helen’s distinctive alto voice settles in perfectly amidst the precise, lush arrangements provided by her band performing Carpenters classics such as; We’ve Only Just Begun, I Won’t Last a Day Without You, Yesterday Once More and Close To You and many more .
This show honors the timeless music of the Carpenters. So come and join us on this nostalgic musical journey. We dare you not to sing along!
